The Social Impact Team loves to volunteer! April, 2022

At Social Impact Consulting, our team is passionate about giving back to the community. Many of us offer time to volunteer for our favourite organizations in Montreal! We wanted to share our current projects with you below.

Adri volunteers on the board for Girls Action Foundation/GAF. She has taken on the role of Interim Treasurer and has committed the time and skills to help oversee this amazing organization.

The Girls Action Foundation provides spaces for women, girls and gender diverse youth to speak out, build skills, and create action on issues that are important and real to them.

Loralie volunteers at the YWCA in Kingston, Jamaica as a Board member, and with fundraising efforts. She has raised money to buy ten families tablets for school, as well as  to put on a Christmas community event and offer 50 children gifts and food baskets! She has also sent a barrel of items donated for their youth programs.

The YWCA Kingston unites Women and girls in a World Wide, Christian, Volunteer membership movement. we are affiliated to the World YWCA we seek to promote its purpose.

Marlo volunteers as the Board President at the Unitarian Church of Montreal and also as a collective member at the NDG Art Hive.

The Unitarian Church of Montreal is a radically inclusive community of faith that welcomes you no matter what your cultural, religious, racial, ethnic, or socio-economic identity or background, immigration status, gender identity or sexual orientation may be.

The NDG Art Hive believes that community-building and art-making go hand-in-hand.  

The Hive offers an open studio spaces that are free, bilingual, accessible, radically inclusive and open to all. We sometimes offer structured workshops and collective projects but always with the option for individual exploration.

Fiona volunteers directly for in-person care of a relative with chronic illness and has offered time at the Jewish General hospital palliative care. There are so many ways to help our direct and broad community.
