How long would it take me to be in compliance if I start on my own from scratch?
This process can take at least 20 hours to map out the process, learn what documents are needed, create documents and prepare a team meeting. Plus another 5-10 hours of implementation.
Is this going to cost me and my organization money to be in compliance?
Organizations can save money with a package of required documents and coaching sessions with our team. The initial meeting will be an hour, and templates with optional follow-up meetings for reviewing the documents and helping team leaders prepare for the team meeting.
What is the worst thing that can happen to us if we don’t do anything about this?
Breaches of data could be more likely to occur, resulting in complaints, and resulting fines can reach up to $10 million CAD or 2% of their global turnover, whichever is greater (Penalties of between $5,000 and $50,000, in the case of a natural person.
